First of all some explanation about the website.

THIS IS NOT A BLOG.

This is an opportunity for me to practice at being a writer, essayist, photographer and photo journalist. The on ramp to an alternative career, an alternative career simulation if you like. I can pretend that this site represents my future job and you, the reader, are my motivation. In other words this is the low risk alternative to an otherwise messy 'Etch-a-Sketch' reset on my life.

It should also help keep me out of trouble when I am travelling.

THIS IS NOT A TESTAMENT TO MY WEB SKILLS.

If you have come this far you will know this already. The site is cheap and cheerful and I am hoping that the content will more than make up for the lack of flash animation. That said a word of special thanks goes to Martin Taylor for helping lay the foundation and coming up with the name. Thanks Martin!!! Note: this should not be construed as a testament to Martin's skills either as I insisted that this what I really wanted. If you want to see what Martin is capable of check out his site.
